Key Responsibilities: Code all diseases and operations according to accepted classifications under general supervision. Ensure compliance with PRO data reporting and adhere to regulatory licensing and accrediting agencies. Required Skills: At least 1 year of recent coding experience, preferably with surgical cases. Proficient in coding hospital inpatient and outpatient E/M services. Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10-CM, and CPT4 coding. A strong understanding of both the medical and business sides of healthcare operations. Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with excellent teamwork skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Internet, and Email; Epic experience is a plus.
