Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards - Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration - Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of methods, including quizzes, tests, and projects - Provide individualized support to students who are struggling with math concepts - Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and areas for improvement - Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and effective educational experience for students
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field - Valid State of Michigan teaching certification in Mathematics (Mathematics -EX endorsement) - Experience teaching secondary math, preferably in a public school setting preferred - Strong knowledge of state and national standards for mathematics education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members - Passion for teaching and helping students succeed in mathematics.
