Ph.D., MBA, MS, or related graduate/terminal degree from a nationally-accredited institution in disciplines related to database, analytics, AI, or a closely related field. University-level teaching experience in those areas. Strong commitment to high-quality pedagogy, including current teaching content, methods, and instructional technology. Curricular and program development experience. Ability to work in teams and a commitment to serve the school. We welcome applications from diverse scholarly and professional backgrounds. High-quality undergraduate and graduate teaching. Student academic advising and mentoring. Maintaining currency in the scholarly basis of teaching areas. Participation in department, school, university, and professional activities. Initial appointments are typically at the rank of Professorial Lecturer for one year, renewable based on performance and budget. The standard teaching load is six courses per year.
