Branham Lane, South San Jose — supporting single adults and families with on-site services, resources, and support in housing, financial literacy, nutrition, and conflict resolution, aiming for self-sufficiency. Shift Details:
Full-time Swing Shift, 4pm-12:30am, Tuesday to Saturday. Position Summary:
The
Program Aide
ensures the facility and community spaces are maintained and operational. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, interacting effectively with clients, staff, donors, and partners, and supporting a safe, clean environment. Duties include: Greeting donors and volunteers, assisting with supplies and donations. Answering phones, assisting callers, and welcoming new participants. Managing inventory, overseeing site maintenance, and completing administrative tasks using Microsoft Office. Monitoring client activities, ensuring safety, and responding to crises calmly. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience with at-risk populations, especially homeless, mental health, or substance abuse issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently. Valid driver’s license and automobile required. Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field preferred. Willingness to learn about diversity, equity, and inclusion. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
