A
Day Program Coordinator (DPC)
is a pivotal position at the day program site and in the community. They are primarily responsible for the coordination of safety, health care/nutrition, scheduling, document creation, site visits, supervision of staff in the absence of the program director, and general operations. The DPC should be involved directly in all program planning, assessments, and implementation. The DPC will also assist in direct training, follow up, and coaching with program staff.

Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
Training of direct care staff
Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
Planning of programs and outings, also assisting with scheduling
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.
Transport persons served to appointments or other activities
Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
Document progress, milestones, and action steps.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum age of {AGE} years
Valid Driver's License
Successful clearance of a criminal background check (licensing requirement)
Proficiency in computer skills for documentation purposes
