Overview
We are currently seeking a
Senior Financial Investigator (SFI)
to support forfeiture-related tasks at the
Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) . The DCIS is a federal law enforcement organization dedicated to protecting America's warfighters by conducting investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse. As an SFI, you will provide support to DCIS agents specifically in the forfeiture-related aspects of their investigations. This role may require travel and extensive consultation with case agents and prosecutors. Responsibilities include analyzing large volumes of business, financial, and other records, performing complex link analysis, and assisting in utilizing asset forfeiture sanctions. You will review, process, and analyze records and observations, and prepare information for presentation to the United States Attorney's Office to facilitate the issuance of seizure warrants. Qualified candidates must possess: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline A minimum of ten (10) years of law enforcement experience in planning, conducting, and participating in complex financial investigations At least five (5) years of specialized experience in areas such as Forfeiture, Organized Crime, White Collar Crime, Fraud, Drug, Money Laundering, or similar fields Active security clearance
