Overview
The Manager, Alumni Marketing supports the execution and enhancement of the firm's alumni engagement program, working closely with the Senior Manager, Alumni Marketing and cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the alumni program, including database management, alumni communications, event planning, and overall engagement. The Manager develops and implements alumni-focused initiatives, tracks program metrics, and assists in the creation of content and campaigns that foster strong alumni relationships and support firm objectives. This position collaborates with stakeholders across the firm to ensure the alumni program is effective, innovative, and aligned with the firm's strategic goals.
Job Duties:
Manages the daily operations of the alumni engagement program, including database and LinkedIn group administration
Coordinates and executes alumni communications, content, campaigns, and events
Assists in the development and implementation of alumni engagement strategies and initiatives
Collaborates with the Senior Manager and other stakeholders to align alumni activities with firm strategy
Tracks, analyzes, and reports on program metrics and KPIs, including alumni demographics and engagement
Supports budget tracking and resource allocation for alumni program activities
Partners with the talent team to identify and promote career opportunities and resources for alumni
Maintains and updates alumni information in relevant systems
Assists in the creation and distribution of newsletters, thought leadership, and social media content
Refines and optimizes workflows and processes to improve program efficiency
Supports the planning and execution of alumni events, both virtual and in-person
Contributes to building an alumni program recognized as a leader in the industry
Cross training with recruitment marketing
Other duties as required
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor's degree, required
Focus in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Public Relations, preferred
Experience:
Six (6) or more years' experience in alumni relations, marketing, business development, or client relations, required
Experience coordinating engagement programs or events, required
Experience in a professional services or corporate environment, preferred
Software:
Proficiency in CRM systems, required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
Experience with web content management systems and social media platforms, preferred
Experience with Airtable, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
Analytical skills and experience with program metrics and KPIs
Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel as needed
Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range:
$75,000 - $90,000 Maryland Range:
$75,000 - $90,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range:
$75,000 - $90,000
