Program Overview
Peraton is seeking a Program Manager to support a new Space Systems Command (SSC) program aligned to the Epoch 2 Ground Management and Integration effort. The Program Manager will coordinate the activities of the Peraton Team as well as subcontractor personnel.
Note:
This position is contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the contract ensuring all tasks are accomplished and deliverables are on time.
Develop and maintain the Program Management Plan (PMP).
Manage schedule, cost, performance, and staffing.
Lead program kickoff and review meetings.
Ensure personnel are qualified and organized.
Assess priorities and resolve conflicting requirements.
Provide necessary resources and facilities.
Perform program control activities and reporting.
Address project issues and develop resolutions.
Monitor progress and intervene as needed.
Manage subcontractors and vendors.
Achieve or exceed performance targets.
Conduct regular internal and customer program reviews.
Ensure effective communication and execution of the contract.
Qualifications:
Degree in a related technical discipline.
12+ years of program management experience, including 8+ years in space acquisitions.
Experience with Ground Integration contracts for DoD or IC.
Preferred:
15+ years of relevant PM experience, 10+ years in space acquisitions.
PMP or equivalent certification.
Experience supporting SSC in Colorado Springs.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000, depending on experience.
