Senior Production Planner Automotive - Stamping and Assembly
Location: Southern California

Senior Production Planner
with extensive knowledge of
New Product Launches
and the ability to plan production in our Stamping, Fabrication, and Assembly Departments. Familiarity with our ERP System, JDE, is a significant plus! Preferably, candidates with an automotive background will be considered; however, experience in aerospace or medium to high-volume manufacturing scheduling from related industries is acceptable. Spanish fluency is highly advantageous! Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and lead production planning for new product and project programs related to stamped metal parts. Collaborate with outside material suppliers, production, engineering teams, and executive management. Conduct root cause analysis and determine effective countermeasures for production scheduling issues. Create and maintain a comprehensive master schedule for stamping, fabrication, and assembly departments. Maintain inventory levels for raw materials and components. Support prototype builds and program launches. Assign tasks to junior staff and monitor progress. Manage overall project goals and KPIs. Ensure excellent reporting capabilities and methodologies. Requirements:
35 years of experience in production scheduling, leading scheduling efforts in a medium-sized manufacturing facility with 300+ employees. Bachelors degree in manufacturing or a related discipline. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of ERP systems; fluency in JDE is a strong plus. Spanish fluency is a plus. Perks:
