Job Title: Operating Room Technician Profession: Operating Room Technician Specialty: OR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting License: VA license required Certifications: Surgical Technologist Certification, BLS Must-Have: Travel experience is required. Competency in General, Robotic, Vascular, and Neuro Surgery is required. CPR/BLS is required. Description: Travel experience is required. Must have competency in General, Robotic, Vascular, and Neuro Surgery. Rotating evening 8-hour shifts from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. Up to 3 call shifts per week, including weekends. All credentialing must be submitted one week prior to the start. All requests for time off must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance. The facility accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu vaccinations. No travelers within 60 miles will be accepted. The client can cancel up to 40 hours prior to the assignment due to census changes. This is a teaching facility where you will work with students and new hires frequently. Team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires. Float is not required.
