About the job Project Controls Manager (Aviation) Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborates with team members to deliver high-quality project outcomes for airport facility initiativesManages project reporting and controls activities, including:Planning and schedulingCost estimating and analysisCost control and engineeringChange managementReviews contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirementsOversees project controls procedures, cost tracking, performance activities, logistics, systems, and closeout processesDirects cost estimating and control functionsLeads schedule development, updates, impact identification, and recovery planningSupports project meetings with documentation, administrative tracking, and follow-up actionsMay assist with coordination and monitoring of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, and architectsMay assist with construction contract documentation, data input, document control, and preparation of status reports for managementMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (preferred)3+ years of experience in project/program controls and construction management on large public facility projectsProficient in scheduling (CPM), project controls, claims analysis, and document controlFamiliarity with construction management methods, procedures, and best practicesStrong written, verbal, and computer skillsSelf-starter with a focus on results and accountabilityDemonstrated reliability, accuracy, and thoroughness in job responsibilitiesExperience coordinating with architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractorsExperience with tools such as Primavera, Sure Track, or Microsoft Project (preferred)Familiarity with Design/Build and other alternative delivery methods (preferred)Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)May be assigned other duties as needed
