We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist in our Emeryville (Bay Area), California office. Come join our team! Responsibilities
Perform fieldwork to support environmental assessment, remediation, and restoration projects, including collecting groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water samples. Assist Project Technical Leads in preparing technical presentations, reports, letters, plans, and proposals. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories, including subcontractor oversight. Support the design of assessment programs and remedial options for site cleanup, environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and permitting activities. Support the management, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data using statistical and data visualization tools. Perform data entry and QA/QC of data tables, maps, reports, and other work products. Conduct research tasks independently with input from technical experts. Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors to foster a team atmosphere. Job Perks

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred. Up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) certification preferred. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team. Experience with data management, database, office software, and data analysis preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred. Ability to travel is required. Additional Details
