Credit Manager,
you will report to the USCA Credit Manager and will be based in our Cranberry Township office. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The candidate is responsible for credit management, development, and implementation of credit strategies for The Pittsburgh Paints Company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in financial worthiness. Key Responsibilities Credit Exposure Monitoring - Assess portfolio credit risk and development of credit and collection strategies to minimize risk while balancing commercial needs. Manage internal credit controls and collection strategies to ensure the team is following credit policies. Management and development of specific geographic credit portfolio and the credit team responsible for daily credit analysis and collections. Lead, mentor and develop the credit team responsible for evaluating credit applications, granting credit limits and collections on accounts. Participate in monthly calls with the sales team to review delinquent accounts. Proactively identify issues and recommend resolution. Collaborate with the sales team to support increased sales and cash flow while minimizing bad debt risk. Develop extensive relationships with the sales team, customers and the business to foster a close relationship and help develop the business. Frequent communication with both internal and external customers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business with at least 5 years’ experience required. Previous experience working with financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow etc. Experience with SAP and other credit software. Analyze multiple types of financial information and reach sound conclusions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) Previous team management is a plus. Travel expectations can be 20% or more. Seniority level
