Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work closely with other team members and interact with clients and local review agencies. The Project Engineer is responsible for the overall supervision of assigned projects to assure the project conforms to the contractual agreement the firm has made with the client, and that the project is completed within the allocated period of time within the assigned budget.nThe Project Engineer/Manager may assume the role of both Project Engineer and Project Manager for selected projects.nDaily Duties:nnUndertakes, where appropriate, and assists in business development.nParticipates in selected organizations that are in the best interest of the company.nParticipates in preparation of contractual agreements and understands the requirement of the contract with client.nAnalyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests and aerial photographs regarding soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project.nProvides and develops schematic design information.nResponsible for written work submitted to client.nIncorporates design concepts from schematic design development and work with project team to produce construction documents.nCoordinates work with other design professionals.nPrepares, assigns, schedules and monitors project budget, schedule and scope of work.nCoordinates staff activities to assure achievement of project budget, schedule and quality goals.nProduces drawings and sketches to be incorporated in drawings by drafters.nDirects technicians to convert designs to working drawings.nSelects details to be used for the project and edit specification sections.nActs as liaison with reviewing agencies.nMaintains contact with client during the project and after completion.nMakes calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design.nUses computer programs and spreadsheets for engineering analysis and presentations.nAvailable to respond to questions and to provide daily guidance to the project team.nRecognizes problems quickly, seek advice from group leaders and develop solutions.nProvides value engineering.nResponsible for the accuracy and quality of plans.nAssures that drawings and designs conform to company production and design standards.nDevelops technical competence of project team members.nAttends construction meetings and produces site observation reports.nPrepares and reviews invoices.nAssists in collection of past due accounts receivable.nnSponsorship: No, must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card HoldernTerm:  6-month TTP (will go direct if candidate needs direct)nPay Range:  $30/hour - $50/hournPay when direct:  $90,000 - $115,000 annual salaryÂnOvertime Expected:  PossiblenWFH or Remote:  possible after 6 months - must live in Cincinnati areaÂnLocation:  Cincinnati, OH (45241)nHours & Shift: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PMÂnTravel: Local OnlynWork Attire: Business CasualÂnDoes the client require a background check and drug screen:  YesnPlease contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 or for more information.nÂ
