Selectek has an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity for a Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our client, a leading Engineering Firm in Newnan, GA that specializes in innovative water treatment facility solutions.
In this role, you'll be the project quarterback, overseeing everything from design to completion. You'll work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met, manage project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with a talented team of engineers and contractors.
Here's what you'll do:
Oversee project orders for industrial/wastewater equipment, guiding them through design, fabrication, and commissioning. Review and approve performance calculations to guarantee equipment meets client specifications. Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, contractors, and service personnel. Manage project schedules and priorities with minimal supervision, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
To be a great fit, you'll have:
A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 5 years of relevant design/drafting experience (mechanical experience is a must!). 2+ years of experience designing industrial or water/wastewater equipment (highly preferred). Proficiency in Inventor or SolidWorks software. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
