Position : Senior Project Manager (for Commercial General Contractor) Our client is a fast-growing Nashville Commercial General Contractor operating throughout the Southeast United States. They are interviewing for a Commercial Construction Project Manager with at least 8+ years of GC experience in commercial construction (employed with a General Contractor ). We are looking to identify someone who has experience estimating & managing projects up to $5+M size projects specializing in : new ground up & renovations. Project types include: retail, office space, commercial, restaurants, shopping centers, and big box facilities. The PM is responsible for overseeing all project related estimates & budgets, all construction site operations, safety procedures, leading the project with the superintendent regarding: scheduling, business development, customer relationships, and quality control for each project. This role will require a strong ability to lead, teach others, and set the bar for project management team and field operations team. Necessary Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or construction related field. 8+ years of Commercial Project Management experience required running multiple projects (3-5) simultaneously over the size of $1Million value Strong ability to understand plans, estimate project budgets, and extensive project management experience with a General Contractor Strong knowledge in sitework and building construction Must have experience as an employee with a General Contractor as a Project Manager.
