Desktop Engineer
to join their team!
This role will support a Windows 11 rollout within an OT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application packaging, desktop imaging, and hardware refresh projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale deployment, ensuring a smooth transition to Windows 11 and optimizing the end-user experience.
Responsibilities: Deploy Windows 11 laptops, including imaging, application setup, and hardware shipping. Package and deploy applications for Windows 11 compatibility. Provide hypercare support post-deployment, troubleshooting issues remotely. Collaborate with IT teams to refine deployment processes. Utilize SCCM for deployment and desktop management. Required Qualifications & Experience: Strong desktop engineering background with Windows 10/11 deployment experience. Expertise in application packaging and software distribution. Experience with desktop imaging technologies (MDT, SCCM, Intune). Proven ability to manage large-scale hardware refresh projects. PowerShell scripting knowledge. Excellent troubleshooting and end-user support skills. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience in an Operational Technology (OT) environment. Familiarity with ITIL best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
