*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Data Center Manager with a strong background in low voltage systems. The Data Center Manager will oversee infrastructure maintenance, and support the expansion of our multi-family developments. This hands-on role requires a strategic thinker who can manage daily IT operations while ensuring high availability and reliability of our data center, network, and security systems.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Scheduling:*
Manage and coordinate daily activities to align with organizational goals and project timelines.
* *Data Center Uptime Management:*
Ensure continuous operation and high availability of all data center resources, including power, cooling, and hardware infrastructure.
* *Project Execution – New Construction:*
Support and implement technology designs for new multi-family building projects, working closely with design teams and contractors to meet technical specifications and deadlines.
* *Low Voltage System Oversight:*
Manage and troubleshoot low voltage systems throughout the factory, including cabling, access control, surveillance, and other related systems.
* *Network & Security Uptime:*
Maintain the reliability and performance of all critical IT systems, including networking, firewalls, and security infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution.
*Job Requirements: *Proven experience managing data center operations, including hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong background in low voltage systems (cabling, access control, CCTV, etc.). Experience managing and scheduling technical staff. Familiarity with network infrastructure, system monitoring, and IT security protocols. Project management experience, especially related to new building construction or IT fit-outs. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, preferably eBay, and process improvement. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
*Preferred Skills & Certifications: *Low Voltage Certification or equivalent experience Experience with multi-family building IT integrations Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks
