Senior Project Manager Job details: We are seeking an experienced

Construction Project Manager

to lead the execution of a

data center construction project

in the state of Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex, large-scale construction projects in the

mission-critical sector

with a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to exacting standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of data center construction projects, from pre-construction planning through project closeout. Coordinate with clients, design teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and quality assurance programs. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety and building codes, and manage on-site challenges. Lead project meetings, report on project status, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. Manage change orders, RFI processes, and all documentation related to project execution. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and permitting requirements. Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Minimum

5-10 years

of experience in commercial or industrial construction project management;

data center experience strongly preferred . Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure: electrical systems, HVAC, mechanical systems, BMS, and security. Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and MS Project. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills. OSHA 30 certification and PMP certification are a plus. Ability to travel as needed and work onsite in Virginia. Preferred Experience: Previous involvement with hyperscale data center projects. Familiarity with Tier III or Tier IV Uptime Institute standards. Experience working with major cloud service providers or colocation firms. Seniority level
