This opportunity entails managing Traffic Engineering/ITS projects in the Atlanta office throughout their full lifecycle, including developing proposals, participating in contract negotiations, and overseeing project delivery to meet HNTB’s performance standards: quality, timeliness, budget, and client satisfaction. The role involves managing project budgets, schedules, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications. It also includes providing technical tasks such as analysis, reports, design, and plans, and coordinating with internal and external teams to resolve design issues. What You'll Do Develop project scope and fee quotations, and assist in technical proposals and contracts. Serve as the primary client liaison, managing project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets. Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, and specifications. Implement project delivery plans and supervise team members. Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development, and performance reviews. Support business development and client relationship building, including proposal development and presentations. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience. 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience. What You'll Bring Experience in Design Traffic Forecasting, Traffic Signal, and ITS Design Services. Support for Safety, ITS, and emerging mobility solutions. Technical leadership in deliverables and staff development. Collaboration with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects. Client interfacing skills. What We Prefer Master’s degree in Engineering. 10 years relevant experience. Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
