Solutions AEC, a leading Engineering, Commissioning, and Consulting firm, is seeking an exceptional Design-Build Project Manager to join our high-performing team. This postition is open to our Phoenix, AZ and St. Louis, MO office locations. What You’ll Do: Oversee all aspects of design-build projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional client satisfaction. Attend meetings with potential clients, develop partnerships, and secure additional work for the organization. Lead budgeting, scheduling, and role definition during preconstruction, ensuring seamless project transitions to field operations. Conduct regular project team meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure accurate construction documents. Collaborate with clients to define requirements, scopes of work, and objectives, maintaining clear and proactive communication. Initiate billing, review and approve invoices, and monitor project scopes for changes impacting budget or schedule. Lead value engineering and enhancement efforts to optimize project outcomes. Provide feedback to the Pre-Construction team to ensure practical and efficient designs. Mentor and train design-build staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Issue and review contracts, assist in selecting subcontractors and vendors, and ensure proper project turnover to field operations. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or a 2-year Associate Degree from a Technical or Trade School. Minimum 10 years of technical experience in design-build or MEP services, with a proven track record in project management. Strong project management, time and priority management, budget focus, quality focus, analytical skills, attention to detail, and client-centric approach. Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment. Methodical goal-setting, efficiency-driven, excellent planning and delegation skills, strong communicator, inspirational leader, active listener, and empathetic team player. Bonus! Experience with tools like BIM 360, MS Project, or Ajera, and familiarity with MEP design standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, IPC). Why Solutions AEC?
