The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Center for Vital Statistics is currently accepting applications for the position of Amendments Operations and Policy Analyst. This role will provide operational support for the Amendments Program, including oversight, coordination, and tracking of the program's activities related to the amendment of vital records. You will provide operational support for specific requests related to amendments. This position is responsible for evaluating program operations, developing improvement strategies, and implementing enhancements. Additionally, it entails supporting policy and administrative rule coordination. Amendments include adoptions, court order paternity establishment, birth record correction over 1-year, birth record corrections under 1-year, voluntary acknowledgment of paternity, court ordered name changes, court ordered sex changes, death, marriage and divorce records corrections, birth record amendments to reflect gender, unattended home birth registrations, and delayed registrations. Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills. OR Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and various tracking and document management software applications. Experience adhering to privacy, security and confidentiality laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
