This Supervisor position is salaried Monday-Fri 8-4:30- this could vary. Required is 5 years experience in Respiratory and 3 years in care of neonatal/peds. RRT, RRT NBRC, RRT-NPS and PALS or NALS is required. The team prefers someone with previous manager/supervisor experience and a NJ license. The Respiratory Supervisor, with guidance from the Director and Manager of the Department of Respiratory Care Services and in conjunction with the Clinical Respiratory Specialists, carries out the supervision and clinical coordination of all respiratory care practitioners and directs the day-to-day operation of the department. The Respiratory Supervisor practices at the level of a proficient-to-expert practitioner of respiratory care. The Respiratory Supervisor demonstrates expertise in caring for patients with multiple and complex problems. In addition to demonstrating clinical leadership, the Supervisor serves as a resource and consultant to staff and participates in endeavors to increase respiratory care knowledge. What You Will Do

Bachelor's Degree Enrollment - Required Master's Degree - Preferred Experience Qualifications
At least five (5) years experience in the field of respiratory care. - Required At least three (3) years experience in the care of neonatal/pediatric patients. - Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to provide basic respiratory care to children. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Licenses and Certifications
Respiratory Therapist (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) - upon hire - Required and Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (RRT-NPS) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) - upon hire - Required and Basic Life Support (BLS) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - upon hire - Required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - upon hire - Required or NALS - Neonatal Resuscitation Program - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex.
