PowerBI Developer
Location:
onsite 2 weeks per month in Westlake, TX or Smithfield, RI
Must Have Skills: Expertise in handling large datasets and optimizing Power BI reports and SQL queries for high performance. Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query for dynamic reporting and analysis. Hands-on experience with Snowflake integration, data modeling, and query performance tuning. Strong knowledge of scalable data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas. Proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and optimization.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Snowflake-specific features, such as Snowflake data sharing, Snowpipe, or Snowflake Streams along with familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP in relation to Snowflake. Report migration experience from other formats such as Oracle OBIEE to PowerBI is a huge plus. Hands on python skills and familiarity with other BI tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) are nice to have.
