Katalyst CRO . We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with extensive knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and experience in the life sciences domain. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of QA experience, including hands-on testing, automation, and team leadership. The QA Lead will be responsible for leading testing efforts, ensuring quality deliverables, and managing client expectations. Responsibilities include: Leading QA activities across projects, including planning, execution, and reporting to meet quality standards. Collaborating with US-based life sciences clients to gather requirements, define test strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GxP). Managing a QA team of 15-20 testers, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Designing and executing manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality, performance, and usability. Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align testing with business requirements. Identifying risks and bottlenecks, implementing solutions for smooth delivery. Ensuring regulatory and compliance documentation for audits and inspections. Leading test automation initiatives by developing frameworks or selecting appropriate tools. Monitoring and reporting QA metrics such as defect densities and test coverage. Implementing continuous improvements in QA processes and tools. Qualifications include expertise in manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, QTP/UFT, ALM, LoadRunner, and ISTQB certification (Advanced Level or equivalent).
