Job Description - Journeys DDA
The Quality Assurance Specialist is a detail-oriented and process-driven professional who will be responsible for auditing and ensuring the accuracy of company data and participant files.
The specialist will consistently review regional files, write corrective action plans, and ensure that, to the best available knowledge, all files are always accurate and correctly recorded.
Duties include:
1. Visually inspect audit files monthly to ensure accuracy in employee charting (all programs), including Medication Assistance Records Activities of Daily Living Records Daily Service Logs Participant Goals/PIPs 2. Ensure that units billed by HAS match with "Out of Service" reports, DSL files, and DSL signature pages.
3. Notify the respective QIDP/Nurse of discrepancies and provide a corrective action plan to ensure corrections in a timely fashion.
Follow up on corrective action plans and notify HAS leadership team, as necessary, of any unresolved issues. 4. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and clear communication.
5. Ensure ongoing personal, professional development by attending annual training as directed.
6. Maintain filing via participant binders, overflow files, and SharePoint.
7. Help with all surveys from L&C, BDDS, and the Integrity Unit, including preparation and throughout the survey timeframe.
8. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Residential Operations, Director of Nursing, Program Director, or Chief Executive Officer.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed:
1. Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
2. Exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures
3. Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to the workplace.
4. Knowledgeable and fluent in IDAPA rules and requirements for Supported Living Agencies regarding document/file requirements.
5. Knowledgeable of software programs
This job requires monthly travel to all offices within the State of Idaho including:
Boise Twin Falls Pocatello Blackfoot Idaho Falls Rigby Rexburg
A company vehicle is provided. Driver's License and clean driving record are required.
