Software Safety / Quality Engineer OASYS, INC. , a leading-edge government contractor in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking applicants for several Software Safety / Quality Engineer positions to support our Army customer. Job Responsibilities include: Conduct scans on specific code bases and produce reports of the findings. Develop Software Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans and document quality activities in compliance with Army processes and procedures. Implement a system and software quality program per the Army Quality Standard Operating Procedures, referencing ISO 9000-3. Prepare change requests for quality processes and implement approved changes. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of the processes. Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of relevant experience in software development or software quality assurance. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Knowledge of the software development life cycle. Experience in developing and/or debugging embedded software. Experience/exposure to MIL-STD-882E and/or DO-178 standards. Skills: Embedded software development experience or experience with software quality assurance. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM, computer science, or computer engineering, etc.) is required. Eligibility: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is highly desired.
