Quality Assurance Analyst
to create test plans for software strategies, test system modifications, scripts and database results and examine a product's usability. They also monitor these test programs for software errors while helping to evaluate testing scripts. This position will be
full-time
and
remote. What Youll Do Conducts a variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems and or applications meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
Collaborate with key stakeholders, and in test strategy meetings to understand business and functional requirements to develop and execute, test plans, test cases and scripts
Identifies defects and performs root cause analyses; recommends appropriate course of action
Interfaces with development teams if clarification is needed on requirements or to convey test results
Retests after corrections are made to ensure problems are resolved
Documents, evaluates, and researches test results for future replication
Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies
Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
Ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
Escalates, manages, and reports control issues with transparency
Performs other relevant duties and functions as assigned
What You'll Need Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
Exposure to programming languages, such as JavaScript, SQL, C++, and Python
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
Preferred: Knowledge of defect tracking systems and processes; including change management
Knowledge of automated regression testing tools
Knowledge of Quality Process of relevant operating systems, languages, and database tools
Willingness to learn new technical and programming skills
Organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
