Quality Inspector
is responsible for performing visual inspection operations, including In-process, Final Inspection, and FAIs as appropriate. The inspector must be familiar with hand tools and inspection under magnification. Additionally, the inspector will assist in verification of test data and related documentation, along with other duties assigned by management. Job Responsibilities: Conduct dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components. Perform FAIs in accordance with AS9102 standards. Use hand measurement tools effectively. Understand and apply CMM inspection processes. Interpret and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprints. Perform final and receiving inspections, including dimensional, visual, surface finish, and assembly checks. Read and interpret quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and related documents. Process warehouse materials as needed. Follow instructions and established guidelines to perform job functions. Support corrective actions and root cause analysis. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components. Experience in performing FAIs per AS9102. Proficiency with hand measurement tools and gages. Proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint interpretation. Valid drivers license and auto insurance. Additional Desired Skills: Experience with quality inspection tools and equipment. Experience in RCCA and problem solving. General Requirements: Ability to handle complex situations and solve problems. Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Analyze technical and business information. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Remain seated for extended periods. Fluent in English (reading and writing). Professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. Independent decision-making and analytical skills. Manage multiple objectives simultaneously. Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Additional Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience as a quality inspector or technician. Experience in aerospace manufacturing for at least 3 years. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Effective communication skills. Ability to meet vision standards as per specified tests. US citizenship or permanent residence, depending on work location. $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
