Barton Associates Inc. We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Aug 18, 2025. This role involves a Monday through Thursday schedule with potential flexibility, supporting a new primary care initiative. The selected candidate will begin with a smaller patient panel, expected to increase to 22-24 as the practice grows.

Responsibilities And Duties

Initiate and manage a new patient panel in a primary care setting Ramp up patient volume responsibly, starting with a lower volume Deliver comprehensive patient care and maintain continuity of care Work collaboratively within a healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes Utilize the EMR system Epic to document patient interactions and treatments

Additional Information

DOT certification is highly preferred Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
