$115,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr About the Role As an RF Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and developing high-frequency radio systems that power next-generation satellite connectivity. From circuit and antenna design to mmWave systems and board-level troubleshooting, you’ll help bring our cutting-edge space technologies to life. This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role ideal for someone passionate about wireless communication, satellite payloads, and contributing to a fast-paced startup environment. What You’ll Do Design and develop RF and analog circuits, including layout for satellite payloads Model, simulate, and test RF subsystems using tools like HFSS, CST, or similar Perform bench-level bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation using test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) Work with mmWave frequencies (Ka band: 27–40 GHz, V band: 40–75 GHz) Collaborate across systems, digital, power, and hardware teams to support end-to-end design and integration Stay current on emerging RF technologies and trends, bringing innovative ideas to the team Contribute to a low-ego, mission-driven culture centered around curiosity, execution, and engineering excellence Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 2+ years of professional experience in RF/analog circuit design and board layout (more senior candidates encouraged to apply) Experience designing and testing RF subsystems, preferably for space-based applications Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or similar Hands-on experience using RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators) Strong understanding of high-frequency (GHz) circuit design, especially Ka and V band frequencies General knowledge of electrical hardware design, including power and digital systems Demonstrated longevity in previous roles (2+ years per role) with no significant employment gaps Passion for engineering—evidenced by side projects, continued learning, or industry opinions Start-up ready: adaptable, ambitious, thoughtful, and collaborative Nice to Have Experience with RF component characterization Background in satellite payload design or space-grade hardware Familiarity with antenna or satellite system design, including range testing Skills in automating test equipment and scripting with Python, MATLAB, or similar Experience designing radiation-hardened systems or analyzing radiation effects 85% Employer (ER) contribution for medical (EE’s and dependents) Vision Seniority level
