The Project & Process Manager will play a vital role in the growth of Schreiner Group in North America. This role will drive the implementation and manufacturing process of our newest technological advances in production. This is a new role, with plenty of room for project ownership and room for advancement.
We’re looking for a dedicated technical expert, with an Electrical Engineering or Software Development background, to strengthen our RFID production team. As an RFID Technology Specialist, you’ll be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our measurement and inspection equipment. You'll also ensure our testing tools remain up-to-date and fully compatible with production requirements.
Your tasks:
Set up, maintain, and calibrate measurement and testing equipment for RFID label production
Diagnose and resolve issues with testing systems in both production lines and incoming goods inspection
Ensure all device firmware is consistently updated to the latest version
Develop and maintain interface programming for testing systems
Manage and maintain production server systems
Verify that all testing equipment is compatible with the full range of RFID chips in use
Collaborate with the parent facility to ensure consistent testing standards across all production sites
Support the advancement and continuous improvement of RFID testing technology in manufacturing
Perform and document program and system tests
Oversee RFID inspection systems used for incoming goods
Conduct internal training sessions on RFID systems and technologies
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Software Development, or a closely related technical field
Strong experience with RFID technologies and testing systems
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, including sensors, camera systems, web control, and ESD protection
Familiarity with firmware updates and system integration
Proficient in C#, VB.Net, and Python, using the Visual Studio IDE
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in fault analysis
Deep understanding of quality standards and production processes
Effective communication skills for collaboration with the parent facility
Independent, precise, and detail-oriented working style
High level of flexibility and a strong team-oriented mindset
Flexibility to travel to Germany
interview process will include 1 planned visit to German headquarters
initial training period of 12 months will include multiple prolonged business trips to the Munich metro area
