We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join a behavioral health facility serving youth, adult, and older adult populations. This role offers flexible scheduling with both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available, along with significant shift differentials and a supportive clinical environment. New hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Position Details:

- Schedule: Full-Time (32-36 hours/week), various day, evening, and night shifts available

- Hourly Rate: $28.90 - $41.00 (based on experience)
- 7am-3pm (Sat & Sun): +$1.25/hr
- 3pm-11pm (Mon-Thu): +$2.00/hr
- 3pm-11pm (Fri-Sun): +$3.00/hr
- 11pm-7am (Mon-Thu): +$4.00/hr
- 11pm-7am (Fri-Sun): +$5.00/hr
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- 8-hour shifts: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM or 11:00 PM-7:30 AM
- Youth: FT Nights (32 & 36 hours), FT Evenings (32 hours)
- High Acuity Adults: FT Days (36 hours), FT Evenings (32 hours), FT Nights (36 hours)
- Older Adults: FT Evenings (32 hours), FT Nights (32 hours)
- Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications and treatments in collaboration with physicians
- Document and report patient status, following all clinical policies and procedures
- Educate patients and families regarding care needs, discharge planning, and medications
- Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused care environment
- Serve as clinical lead for care staff as needed; may function as charge nurse
- Support quality improvement efforts and efficient resource utilization
- Provide emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual support to patients across settings
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Michigan or eligible for RN License by Endorsement
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Satisfactory previous clinical experience; new graduates may be considered (preference for those with psychiatric or emergency department experience)
- Completion of education from an accredited school of nursing
- May be required to have professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory
- Ability to provide culturally inclusive care to diverse communities
- Strong clinical judgment and emotional stamina to address complex patient needs
- Willingness to work in high-acuity and potentially adverse environments
- Analytical ability to interpret patient data and communicate effectively with the care team
- Commitment to embodying compassion, integrity, stewardship, empowerment, diversity, and professional excellence in care delivery
- May require a valid Michigan driver's license and ability to access facility vehicles for job-related duties
