License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: Previous travel experience, Cerner experience
Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical specialty. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting. The shift is 12 hours long, during the AM, from 7 AM to 7 PM. A guaranteed 36 hours per week is provided. Nursing ratios are 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. The nurse may be required to float as needed, based on skill set. Common diagnoses and treatments include CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, cardiac issues, ESRD, post-operative bariatrics, orthopedic procedures, ENT, and general surgery. The facility has a total of 155 beds. Charting will be done using Cerner. Scrub color is navy blue. Weekend work will be required every other weekend.
