Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RAD Tech License in WA Certifications: Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Must-Have: Experience in interventional cath lab Description: Seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role involves floating to pre and post care for cath lab and GI patients. The unit consists of one cath lab and one IR lab, with an average of 5-6 cases per day, primarily cardiac catheterizations. Candidates must possess a RAD Tech License in Washington and provide a traveler radiation badge. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS for RN's, and RCIS or ARRT certification for Technologists. Common procedures include right and left heart catheterization with or without intervention, as well as percutaneous coronary interventions. The role involves circulating, documenting, monitoring, and assisting in both pre and post-procedure areas. Technologists must be able to scrub and monitor procedures effectively. Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC and GE MacLab, is highly valued. The position requires availability for on-call shifts, approximately one weekend a month from Friday evening until Monday morning. Candidates should exhibit flexibility, as the schedule may be adjusted based on traveler availability. Teamwork and the ability to adapt to different roles between the Cath Lab and IR cases are vital. Please note, the facility may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is performed using EPIC Systems Corp - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR.
