Job Summary:
The Mammographer will perform high-quality mammographic examinations and provide patient care with a focus on safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in imaging techniques and a passion for women's health.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
Maintain and operate mammography equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Educate patients on mammography procedures and breast health.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Certification:
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a Mammography (M) certification.
Experience:
Previous experience in mammography preferred.
