Locum Tenens Opportunity: Diagnostic Radiologist Near Oak Harbor, WA Are you a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity in the vibrant healthcare community near Oak Harbor, WA? Join our team and contribute to providing high-quality imaging services in a collegial, team-oriented environment. Position Details:
- Profession: Physician
- Specialty: Radiologist - Diagnostic
- Default Rate Type: Hourly
- Emergency/Temp Privileges: No
- Cross-sectional abdominal and thoracic imaging
- Diagnostic ultrasound
- Basic plain films
- Proficiency in basic fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., UGIs, fluoroscopic-guided hip and shoulder injections)
- Ability to perform US procedures (e.g., paracentesis and thoracentesis) would be advantageous.
- Setting: Tertiary care center
- Duties: Reading abdominal and thoracic CT scans, general ultrasound, and plain films
- FTE: 0.80 - 1.0
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Dedicated film room/image management team. Administrative assistant for departmental support
- Reason for Coverage: Waiting for replacement radiologists to finish up their fellowships and family leaves.
- Board Certification: Required
- License: WA License - Highly Preferred (Will accept IMLC as long as the provider has it by the start date)
- Certifications: BLS, DEA - Required (During credentialing)
