Responsibilities Provide real estate and land use advice to public and private sector clients on projects such as redevelopment, transit-oriented developments, airport projects, infrastructure public-private partnerships, renewable energy, and mixed-use developments. Draft and negotiate transactional documents including purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, loan documents, options, covenants, access agreements, and construction documents. Advise clients on land use issues, from due diligence to strategic entitlement processing. Work on projects involving tax increment financing and other public financing mechanisms. Explore and present innovative solutions to complex client problems. Qualifications 7+ years of relevant transactional law experience in real estate, land use, or finance. Familiarity with purchase and sale transactions, real estate finance, title and survey reviews, and related documents. Exceptional writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment. Proactive, responsible, and eager for personal growth. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (Colorado preferred). Preferred Skills Experience with commercial real estate, urban redevelopment, land use, or construction law. Entrepreneurial mindset and team-oriented approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Position Details This is a full-time role based in Denver, CO, with an expectation of 1,600 billable hours annually, including unlimited approved pro bono hours. Salary ranges from $185,000 to $225,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), flexible PTO, parental leave, and transportation support.
