Recreation Assistant For Seniors With Dementia
Looking for an energetic, compassionate, and independent Recreation Assistant to work solely with seniors with dementia and related memory impairments. Someone to assist the Director in planning and implementing all activities. Proficient in Zoom, Skype, Facetime, and all other virtual communication aides. Activities are both group and independent. Must be available to work a weekend day (Saturdays). Education Requirements
Minimum high school diploma. Recreational experience with a background in assisted living is preferred. Ability to read, write, and understand English clearly. Strong organizational and communication skills required. Schedule
Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 to 7:00 pm. Flexibility is needed, hours may vary. Benefits
Dental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, paid time off. Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. We've made it this far...here's the reason. So how is it that we have made it this far? We do not like changewe love it! What began here as "Memory Care" has evolved into something so much better. Our decision to change was intentional. We worked hard. We studied. We learned that there are well over 100 different types of dementia. Today, we confidently welcome residents with Lewy Body's, Parkinson's, vascular dementia, and Alzheimer's just to name a few.
