JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a Dock Worker/Forklift Operator to play a critical role in our shipping and logistics operations. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and executing the safe and accurate loading of Regal boats for shipment to our global dealer network. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in forklift operations and takes pride in the precision and safety required to handle high-value inventory.

- Coordinate and load Regal Boats for shipments to dealers across the world.
- Ensure trailer height and weight requirements are met for safe travel.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move boats and high-value items safely.
- Carefully handle boats valued at $250,000+ with consistent success and professionalism.
- Follow proper loading and tie-down procedures to prevent damage during transport.
- Maintain detailed shipping records and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, and stockroom cleanliness.
- Support inbound receiving processes and communicate stock discrepancies as needed.
- Work closely with the shipping, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Must have forklift experience and the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
- Proven experience handling high-value items ($250k+) with care and precision.
- Strong understanding of trailer loading, weight distribution, and transportation safety.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing in/out of boats and trailers, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work 10-hour shifts, including planned and unplanned overtime.
- Conversational English skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Commitment to wearing and maintaining proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work Environment Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature, reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10-hour days with most of the time being on their feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
