The Senior Analyst, Market & Business Intelligence, G&ES, will play a key role in developing Qcells' strategy for Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and Distributed Energy Resource (DER) market growth. Responsibilities include analyzing internal DER data, conducting market sizing, analyzing utility and market data, building dashboards, tracking policy developments, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Energy Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in energy market analysis, strategy, or business intelligence. Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Experience with geospatial or grid data and familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar data tools. Understanding of DER, VPP models, and U.S. electricity markets and regulations. Preferred Skills
Experience in energy research, consulting, or market intelligence. Background in grid-edge technology providers or utilities. Knowledge of wholesale markets, DR programs, and regulatory filings. Additional Information
This role contributes to the clean energy transition by enabling flexible load participation and guiding investments in grid-interactive technologies. The salary range listed complies with the California Pay Transparency Act and may vary based on location and experience. The position is full-time and classified as mid-senior level in Business Development and Sales within the Renewable Energy and Semiconductor Manufacturing industries.
