We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Cloud Architect to join our Tailored Technology team. You will leverage your expertise across multiple cloud platforms-primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with AWS and Azure-to influence our cloud strategy. You'll shape best practices, guide project teams, and create innovative, automated, secure, and scalable cloud solutions across projects. What You'll Do GCP Architecture : Architect, optimize, and troubleshoot complex deployments using GCP services like GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Spanner, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, IAM, VPC, and Cloud Build. Multi-Cloud Architecture : Lead implementation of Data Engineering solutions on AWS and IT functions on Azure, ensuring interoperability, cost efficiency, security, and data ingress/egress. Cloud Migration and Optimization : Lead migrations from on-premises to cloud, supporting teams in selecting strategies like rehost, replatform, or refactor. Cloud Security, Identity, and Networking : Ensure secure, compliant environments across GCP and AWS, applying VPC design, IAM policies, API security, and Zero Trust models. Infrastructure as Code & Automation : Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines like GitOps, ensuring traceability and monitoring. Enterprise Governance : Set and enforce cloud standards, collaborate across departments, and maintain documentation. Cloud Solutions & Innovation : Architect foundational solutions, evaluate new technologies, and transition proofs of concept to operations. Cloud Infrastructure Automation : Use Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Jenkins, Atlantis, and HashiCorp tools like Vault and Packer. Well-Architected Framework & Standards : Adhere to GCP and AWS best practices and industry standards. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's or certifications (e.g., GCP/AWS solutions architect) beneficial 8+ years of cloud architecture experience Deep expertise in GCP services and proven knowledge of AWS and Azure solutions Experience migrating applications to the cloud Strong understanding of security, networking, and Zero Trust models Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Jenkins, and HashiCorp tools Ability to set, enforce, and document cloud governance standards Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills If you meet most requirements but fall short in some areas, apply anyway! Salary & Work Environment The salary range for Colorado, NY, CA, and WA: $106,800-$122,700, potentially up to $177,900 based on merit and experience, plus bonuses. The role is based in Dublin, CA, or remote, with standard work hours.
