Location: New York City Administration for Childrens Services (ACS)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Pay rate: $45 to $50 per hour
Project Overview:
As part of case investigations, Child Protective Specialists (CPS) complete community visits and currently submit visit plans via a manual PDF form (CS-710). This project aims to automate the form submission using a mobile and web-based application, streamlining visit planning, approval, and record-keeping processes.
Key Responsibilities:Business Analysis
Gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
Create user stories, use cases, process flows, and data models.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
Ensure requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
Quality Assurance
Develop and execute test cases/plans for both mobile and web platforms.
Perform system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, etc.
Track and manage defects; verify resolutions.
Ensure product quality and usability standards are met.
Project Management
Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules.
Facilitate meetings and provide regular status updates.
Monitor project progress, risks, and changes in scope.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Follow Agile methodology practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
35+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst, QA, and Project Manager.
Proficient in requirements elicitation and documentation.
Experienced in web and mobile application testing.
Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools and methodologies.
Proven ability to manage project deliverables and risks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred: Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems.
