Are you passionate about next-generation polymer design for biomedical or advanced material applications? Join our team as a
Polyoxazoline Chemist
and lead the synthesis and development of novel POx-based polymers to enable cutting-edge solutions in
drug delivery, bioengineering, and smart materials . Design and synthesize
poly(2-oxazoline) derivatives
using
cationic ring-opening polymerization (CROP)
techniques. Optimize reaction conditions to control polymer architecture, molecular weight, and functional group distribution. Conduct
scale-up activities
in collaboration with process engineers to support pilot-scale and manufacturing readiness. Characterize polymers using
NMR, GPC, FTIR, DSC, TGA, MALDI-TOF , and other analytical tools. Develop functionalized POx for use in
nanocarriers, hydrogels, surface coatings, or therapeutic conjugates . Document research findings, contribute to intellectual property filings, and collaborate in cross-functional project teams. PhD or MS in
Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science , or a related field. Proven hands-on experience in
POx synthesis , preferably via CROP. Strong understanding of
polymer structure–property relationships
and
bioconjugation techniques . Familiarity with
biomedical, pharmaceutical , or
high-performance material applications
is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills. Seniority level
