Responsibilities:
- Handling and serving residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort
- Perform activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and vitals
- Coordinating schedules for residents requiring rehabilitation therapy
- Receiving and escorting visitors
- Providing quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers, and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Medication Management.
- Following infection control techniques in performing patient and resident care.
- Observing and reporting signs and symptoms of changes in condition.
- Exchanging information necessary for quality patient/resident care.
- Prioritizing patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
- Maintaining all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy.
- Must be actively licensed in the state of California as a Nursing Assistant
- CPR or BLS Certification,
- Physical Test and a TB Test (taken within one year)
- Driver's License or State ID
- 6 months experience working as a CNA
