What You'll Do
As a Home Care Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of respiratory care services to patients in their homes, including but not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive respiratory assessments and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Providing education and training to patients and their families on respiratory equipment, treatment modalities, and disease management. Managing and maintaining various respiratory equipment, such as oxygen concentrators, ventilators, BiPAP devices, etc. Monitoring patient progress, documenting observations, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Responding to patient respiratory equipment needs in a timely and professional manner. Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
What You'll Bring
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in California. Proven experience in respiratory care, preferably in a home health or related setting. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills. Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
