Structural Engineering Designer
To work on a variety of commercial, educational, and athletic facility projects. Required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology 3-5 years of commercial design experience AutoCAD Proficiency Revit Proficiency preferred On track for EIT The primary responsibilities will include consulting with the architect and client to establish project requirements and preferences designing and analyzing structural building systems (concrete, steel, and masonry), and verifying that designs meet local and national building codes. The designer will conduct predesign site visits to survey existing conditions, prepare preliminary drawings, and obtain necessary approvals. They will develop contract documents (calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details) for construction and review submittals to verify conformance with those documents. As their experience level grows, they conduct site observations to verify conformance with contract documents and building codes. Salary $60,000-$70,000 + stock options and generous bonus plan.
