Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr Soni's client is looking for a results-driven senior manager with a strong passion for transportation and supply chain technology. This role is focused on leading the development, implementation, and optimization of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic growth across the organization. As Manager of Logistics & Transportation Technology, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering technology solutions that support operations across Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, Finance, and Executive Leadership. This individual will play a vital role in aligning technology with business goals to maximize ROI and performance across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to design, deploy, and maintain TMS and related logistics systems Guide strategic planning and implementation of transportation and supply chain technologies to improve efficiency and service levels Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system alignment with business needs and compliance with regulations Analyze transportation data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance Oversee technology integration with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers Monitor system performance and partner with infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams to ensure reliability and security Research and evaluate emerging technologies such as automation, AI, or blockchain for future implementation

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in transportation management or supply chain systems Proven experience with TMS or supply chain platform implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Manhattan) Prior leadership experience managing technology or operational teams Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Strong knowledge of transportation modes and compliance standards Experience in grocery, CPG, or wholesale industries is a plus Willingness to work onsite, travel, and occasionally operate in distribution center environments

Compensation: $170,000 - 190,000
