SAP Technical MDG Consultant – IT Supply Chain COE Overview : We are seeking a skilled SAP Technical MDG Consultant to join our IT Supply Chain Center of Excellence (SC COE MDG) team. This role focuses on Supplier Master Data Development and involves close collaboration with global teams of Functional Analysts, Architects, and various systems including SAP S / 4HANA, ECC, MDG, and GTS. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive success across business units. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and enhance MDG workflows, forms, interfaces, and BRF+ rules across all master data domains. Customize and extend SAP MDG data models (MM, BP, OG), including entity modeling and UI enhancements using Web Dynpro and FPM. Configure and manage BRF+ workflows, validations, and derivations using BRF+, BADIs, and DQM. Integrate MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems using DRF framework and IDoc / web service-based replication. Support testing and automation teams throughout various testing phases. Collaborate with data conversion teams to define business rules for deduplication and data quality improvements. Provide production support and troubleshoot MDG-related issues. Contribute to MDG Consolidation and ensure alignment with SAP best practices. Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Minimum 6 years of experience with SAP ECC and S / 4HANA. Proven experience in full lifecycle MDG implementations on S / 4HANA. Strong hands-on experience in : Data modeling and UI enhancementsBRF+ workflow configurationValidations and derivationsData replication setup and configuration Experience with MDG Consolidation and DRF framework. Preferred Qualifications : Deep understanding of SAP S / 4HANA and MDG data models. Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology. Proficiency in master data management principles. Experience with OData APIs and RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP). Knowledge of the broader SAP ecosystem including GTS. Understanding of SAP best practices for master and transactional data. Education & Experience : Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination such as : Master’s degree + 7 years of experiencePhD + 4 years of experience13 years of relevant work experience without a formal degree
