To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met. Create, update, and maintain master data records in SAP for materials, vendors, customers, bill of materials (BOMs), routings, and other relevant objects. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness according to company policies and procedures. Support data cleansing, migration, and validation activities during SAP projects, upgrades, or implementations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA). Collaborate with business units (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, finance, sales) to understand and document master data requirements. Troubleshoot master data issues and provide timely resolutions in coordination with functional SAP teams. Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Monitor and report on data quality metrics and perform root cause analysis for recurring data issues. Assist with development and maintenance of master data workflows and automated processes. Train business users on data entry best practices and SAP data standards. Support audits and compliance activities by providing master data documentation and reports. COMPETENCIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in SAP master data management , preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or enterprise environment. Solid understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA master data objects (e.g., MM, SD, PP, FI modules). Experience with tools such as
SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) ,
Winshuttle ,
Excel , and
data validation scripts
is a plus. Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment. Knowledge of data migration tools (e.g., LSMW, LTMC, BODS). Exposure to data governance frameworks and master data policies. Familiarity with shipbuilding, manufacturing, finance, or supply chain processes.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

A range of motion sufficient to perform general lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, working at heights, extended walking or standing, etc. is required. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Duties performed in an office area environment within a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities will require routine fieldwork in the shipyard's fabrication shops, dry docks, and on-board vessels as part of the above activities. These heavy industrial settings may include; noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fume, and smoke, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
